Hello and Welcome here! 

My name is Alexis and I am the CEO and founder of I Am ~ Luxury Accessories.  This journey began for me a little while after becoming a mom, where I went through a period where I felt like I lost touch with who I was as Alexis.  Who I was with me, outside of just being a mom.  I am sure it was partly the hormones, but I started to doubt and question the roles and titles I had taken on, the ones people had given me and even some of the ones I had given myself. 

 

I was having all of these feelings after I chose to focus on something that I had intentionally prayed for and God had granted my heart's desire.  So how could I be sad?  And it was with that thought that my mindset shifted...everything seemed to click.

 

God is a BIG GOD!  And I told myself that God would not just grant me one of my heart's desires and not also make and hold space for all the other things my heart desired as well.  He has the power to change things.  He has the power to give and grant me the things that I ask for with a sincere heart.  John 14:13-14.

 

I am a spiritual person so I prayed and asked for direction and guidance.  And then I was reminded that the only title that matters is that, I Am, a child of God.  All that matters is who He is in me.  And that I am seeking after him in all of my ways and my intentions are to do good.  So as long as I am showing up and also doing the work, then I Am and can be whoever I believe myself to be.  And that is most definitely a great wife, a great mom, friend, world-traveler, boss, fashionista and all the other things. 

 

So I made a choice. I needed to make something for myself as a reminder of who I Am and all that I held the power within to overcome. Something that wouldn't allow me to forget ever again.  I took the power of creating a daily reminder into my own hands and I Am was born.  I took my love for accessories and merged it with my will to never again forget who I Am and who He is in me.  And this is my gift to you!

 

Maybe the reminder for you is different. Maybe you are dealing with a situation that you did not pray for.  Whatever you are growing though, or whatever season you are in, I am here to remind you that you can do anything if only you believe in the I Am in YOU! My hope is that when you wear one of my pieces you be forever reminded of the strength, resilience, beauty and bad ass you have always had within!
